Food for a Lazy Day: Tortillas and Dip
What a tiring day at school. It's too early in the morning to actually put too much effort in making something. Here's something tasty to satify your stomach, without that much work. We had our very own Vanessa Dutra, grade 11, cook for us !
What You Will Need:
Tortillas (not the chips!)
Olive Oil
Table or Sea Salt
Ground Pepper
Garlic Powder, optional
STEP ONE: Preheat oven to 375 degrees
STEP TWO: Cut Tortillas to desired size (I suggest cutting them in eights ) You can cut them with a pizza cutter, but for lazy people like me, scissors is much easier. [PICTURE] [PICTURE]
STEP THREE:Get a small bowl then create a simple mixture of two pinches of salt and one of pepper and 2 tbsp of olive oil (Optional- A pinch of garlic powder)
STEP FOUR: Coat the bottom of the oven pan Place cut chips on the pan [PICTURE] STEP FIVE: Coat the chips in the olive oil, salt and pepper mixture. [PICTURE]
STEP SIX: Place in heated oven for about 10-12 minutes or to desired golden colour [PICTURE]
STEP SEVEN: Take them out of the oven, careful it's hot!, and cool them off for a bit.
ENJOY!
