Katy Mcallister: Texas Artist

Katy Mcallister is a singer and songwriter and also does folk and pop music. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas and then grew up in Denver, Colorado. After growing up in Denver she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Katy has 3 siblings and she plays music for them and her parents. Before the fame Katy started playing piano at the age of 4, but got serious about writing and making music when she was in high school. Katy was introduced to Tyler Ward, who is a local musician and producer. Tyler really loved Katy’s writing style of music. In the year 2009, he helped and worked with her to become the musician that she became later on. Katy’s first big hit was her single called, “Here’s to the Heartbreakers” which helped her grow as an artist.
