Food for a Lazy Day- Chickpea Salad

This is another easy recipe for lazy people such as myself. This took me about 7 minutes to complete! Chickpeas are very filling and are very healthy with a good source of fibre, protein and iron.

All you’ll need:

  • 1 can of chickpeas

  • ¼ cup of chopped green onion

  • 1 table spoon of olive oil

  • 1 table spoon of balsamic vinegar

Step One- Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas, I recommend the brand Nupak, and add into a bowl

Step Two- Chop up your green onion and add to the bowl as well

Step Three- Finally add your vinegar and olive oil and mix it up

Optional: Add a dash of salt and pepper for taste

Can it get any simpler?

Always keep in mind that with every recipe that is given, they are simply guidelines. Don’t be afraid change it up to fit your preference! Be creative.
